Janine has visited India 8 times traveling in a number
of different areas - always looking for specific temples, stone
carvings and new experiences of the country.

Her most recent visit included Tanjavur
and Mahaballipuram in Tamil Nadu

She stayed in an artists' residency near Trivandrum in
Kerala twice to study kathakali (theatrical form) kalaripayattu (martial
arts) and bharta natyam (dance) which resulted in a particular set of
drawings and wire sculptures
